How MoneyFlow stores your records, uses iCloud and handles support requests.

Financial records
Transactions, categories, budgets, spending plans, goals, deposits, subscriptions and loans you add to MoneyFlow are stored on your device. You can use the app offline and without a separate MoneyFlow account.
You enter records yourself. The app does not connect to your bank account or send your financial records to a MoneyFlow server.
iCloud sync
When iCloud is available for MoneyFlow, financial records can sync through your private iCloud database to your devices using the same Apple Account. Selected preferences also sync through iCloud.
iCloud storage and availability depend on Apple's services, your account, available storage and device settings. Sync can take time. You can also use the app without an iCloud account.
Optional profile
Your profile name and email are optional. They do not create a MoneyFlow account and are not used to sign you in or send newsletters.
If provided, these fields are stored on your device and can sync with selected preferences through your private iCloud key-value storage. You can change or clear them in the profile editor.
Reminders
Daily reminders are optional and scheduled on your device. The app requests notification permission when you enable reminders.
You can turn reminders off in MoneyFlow or change notification permission in iOS Settings. You can record income and expenses without this permission.
Advertising and analytics
The current version of the app contains no advertising, tracking SDKs or third-party analytics. MoneyFlow does not use your financial records to build an advertising profile.
This website uses no analytics or advertising trackers, and no cookies for analytics, advertising or sign-in.
Visiting this website
When you visit the website, its hosting provider processes technical information needed to deliver pages and operate the service, such as your IP address, browser information, requested address and request time. This information may be included in hosting logs.
This processing relates to visiting the website. Your financial records from the app are not sent to the website.
Support correspondence
If you contact support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond and investigate your request.
The contact link opens your email app. Your message travels through the sender's and recipient's email providers, whose own policies also apply to the correspondence. Please leave out passwords, card details and financial records that are not needed to explain the issue.
How long data is kept
Records and optional profile details remain in the app’s storage and available iCloud storage until you delete them. Copies in device backups are managed separately using Apple’s tools.
Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to respond, resolve the issue and meet applicable legal obligations. You can request its deletion by email. Retention of the website’s technical logs depends on the hosting provider and deployment settings; contact support for details.
Managing and deleting data
You can edit and delete records using the actions on their screens in the app. When sync is available, these changes can reach your other devices through iCloud.
You manage MoneyFlow's iCloud access and stored data in iOS Settings. Deleting the app from one device does not by itself delete copies in iCloud. The Data deletion page explains the available actions.
Questions and policy updates
For questions about privacy or support correspondence, use the contact address on this page. You do not need to share your Apple Account password for us to consider your request.
If MoneyFlow's data practices change, we will update this page and its publication date. This version describes the current app and website.
